03Closer to everyday life

The next step in technology. Communication that includes everyone.

NextRun is an AI sign-language company. Rather than simply adapting communication designed for hearing people, we focus on how Deaf people use language and access information. From sign-language avatars to captions in shared spaces, we work toward everyday connections.

SYNCSL DEMO

Reading sign language. Showing it as text.

A screen from the SyncSL demo version. It recognizes hand and arm movements through a camera and shows signed words as Korean text.

Sign-language recognition demo. A character signs with both hands in front of the chest, with recognition points drawn as lines over the hands and arms. Below, the recognized word 반갑다 (nice to meet you, 99.5% confidence) is shown; the history panel on the right lists 반갑다, 안녕하세요 (hello), and 만나다 (to meet).
Redrawn from a real demo screen, with the person replaced by a character. Results and figures on screen are examples from the demo and do not guarantee performance.

Let’s start with your questions.

Answers about our products and approach to communication.

Talk to us →
01How are Deaf-oriented captions different from standard captions?

Standard captions focus on transcribing speech. NextRun’s AI real-time captions aim to use a Gloss-based approach that considers how Deaf people understand language. Contact us for details on expression and product scope.

02Where could these products be used?

Potential settings include public offices, courts, schools, academic seminars, theaters, hospitals, airports and KTX, and religious facilities such as churches and cathedrals: anywhere information is delivered by voice. Contact us to discuss suitability for your environment.

03Can I see SyncSL in action?

SyncSL has been developed through a demo version. The SyncSL demo on this page shows an image based on a real demo screen. Contact us if you would like a live demo or to discuss a collaboration.

04Do the English and Japanese pages mean those sign languages are supported?

No. The website’s Korean, English, and Japanese translations are separate from product sign-language support. Please ask about the supported sign languages and availability for each product.

05How can I ask about a product or collaboration?

Use Contact Us below to prepare an email with your address, subject, and message, or write directly to hunylee0@gmail.com. Product scope and schedules are discussed individually.
